Hey everyone! I was recently interviewed for a newspaper article in St. Joseph Missouri about dehydrating foods! Tammy, I just love the whole idea behind dehydrating. I am totally consumed by trying it all out. I pride myself in being a mom who cooks a lot and freezes a lot of my garden produce. I have found ways to save and was feeling really good but still felt I could do more. I have opted to do some canning, but dehydrating seems like it would be so much more fun, considering all the options you've shown us. Your site was an answer to a prayer for me. I don't remember how I came across your site but I did last week at around 10 pm one night . I read your articles and recipes and sat in awe as I watched your video's. I ordered an excalibur dehydrator right after leaving your site and actually went back to check and make sure I got the right dehydrator. Now I sit waiting for it to arrive so I can try it all out. I'm anxious to learn as much as I can. Everything you say is so true in regards to caring for our families and how uncertain the economy is. I'm all set to build those shelves one day soon too. Thank you so much for letting us all in on your experiences and know how. I know I love it, Pat
