Confusion About Vacuum Bags

There has been some confusion during the last few weeks over where to buy vacuum bags for long-term food storage. I recently had a problem with one company who changed their bags without informing me.
After looking around I discovered the DC Sales Enterprises, Inc. website. DC sells high quality vacuum bags along with meat slicers, the Weston Pro-2300 Vacuum Sealer that I use and love, and many great pantry building tools. I was thoroughly impressed with the service of DC and with how honest, kind, and ready to help they were.
I am always asked what products I use and where to get them, so I am always working to find places to get great products from reliable people.
Recently there was confusion to as if DC Sales Enterprises, Inc . changed their bags also. After consulting the president of DC I discovered the bags WERE NOT CHANGED; only the shipping and packaging has changed. Therefore I still recommend DC for quality products in long-term food storage and preparation.
To visit the site click the link in the ‘Videos’ section or the ‘Resources’ section (soon to come). If you want to know where I get other products from just comment below and I will try to include my best sources in my 'Resources' page when it is up and running! Enjoy the site!

Hi Tammy,
Can you please tell me where you buy your mylar bags. What sizes and mil thickness. Also, where you purchased your food chopper. I've looked for it but can't seem to locate it. Thank you for all your help in teaching us how to store & use our food supply.
Yes! Me, too! We have looked and LOOKED on the web and in stores for a food chopper like yours, (even went to a commercial restaurant supply store) but can't find any! We finally got a French fry cutter at Bass Pro which works on some things, but it doesn't work as well as yours. So we are eagerly looking forward to your resource web page!!!!
The chopper from williams-sonoma seems to be no longer available. I have been to their website, take to someone at the company, and visited the store (with a picture of Tammy and her chopper). No luck.
Thanks for the update!
Thanks for the info. Here I thought food saver bags were the 'standard' for the industry. I just looked through the DC Sales Enterprises web site. They have great looking products.
