How to Dehydrate Onion:

Instructions:

Green onions:

  • Wash, then trim the root end and any damaged greens.
  • Cut across into thin rings or into lengths, as you prefer.
  • Spread on dehydrator trays.
  • Dehydrate at 125 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 hours.

 Pearl onions :

  • Peel, then cut thin slices. Pull the slices apart into rings.
  • Spread on dehydrator trays.
  • Dehydrate at 125 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 hours.

Dryness Check:

The dehydrated onion should feel dry like paper and be flexible.
